Santa Fe sandwich

Now that State Street Deli has a grill, I look forward to lunch on Mondays when we do the Santa Fe sandwich which is sliced Turkey breast, Pepper Jack cheese, Roasted Red Peppers & fresh spinach. Melted, goodness with a slightly spicy kick.

 

Roasted Red Pepper Corn Chowder

Every weekday the deli has at least two soups and the selection is always rotating (in the summer, cold ones make it into the rotation). I look on the menu for the Roasted Red Pepper Corn Chowder. It’s offered as vegetarian or with bacon. I go for the bacon!

Fusilli (that curly pasta) with chopped sweet peppers, black olives, Feta cheese, fresh basil and a light Italian dressing. It’s cool and refreshing, and tasty!

Philly Corned Beef Sandwich

This one is really stacked with corned beef! I get it with Gulden’s
mustard which is a nice contrast to the creamy deli-made coleslaw.
Pumpernickel is my bread of choice for this one.
